Stylish and finely detailed antique Victorian paperclip chain necklace crafted in 9k rose gold (circa 1880s to 1900s).

The hefty paperclip link necklace weighs 44 grams and features elongated links with repeating rows of knotted design, crafted in rosy 9k gold. English in origin, the necklace has an attached engraved 9k yellow gold medallion that dates to Dec 25th, 1919. From what we can decipher, the initials read WE. The 18 1/2 inch chain is great for wear alone or layered with your fine jewelry from any era. The fob can accommodate more charms if desired to add your own unique look to the necklace.
The necklace is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.

The yellow gold medallion is also hallmarked 375 for 9k gold in addition to the Mark of Origin for Birmingham, UK (anchor on its side) and the date letter sequence for the year 1915 (letter 'q') along with the Makers Mark C&F Ld.
