Antique 14k Gold and Diamond Swallow Bird Pendant on Optional 14k Gold Necklace

Swallows were a common motif in Victorian and Edwardian jewelry symbolic of faithful love and a safe return home.

This pendant was converted from an antique brooch (circa 1910-1920) by removing the pin findings and adding a 14k gold bail. It features a 14k gold swallow clutching a single diamond accent in its beak.

The pendant measures 1.7 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 1.4 inches wide, and it is in great condition. We are providing the option to purchase the swallow or without the 18 inch, 14k gold chain depicted in the photos.
