Antique Victorian Forget Me Not Bangle Silver Circa 1880

This beautiful Victorian Silver cuff bangle is, Circa 1880.

Inlaid with Gold Forget Me Nots which are set in Rose Gold and Yellow Gold.

This bangle has Silver detail across the front leading to the sides, showing beautiful workmanship from the Victorian period.

Forget me not, O Lord! is what a poor German knight shouted as he fell into a river. He and his lady were picking flowers by the side of the river at the time when the poor knight suddenly fell in and sank to the bottom.

Upon his cries to the Lord, he threw the blue posy of flowers to his loved one. Hence, the concept of remembrance, eternal love and faithfulness grow from this.

Set with a secure clasp and safety chain.

It looks wonderful when worn, such a statement piece.

It is steeped in history from the Victorian era.
